Stolen Lives

It is sad when you think about it Of how dreams are crushed And how the Society is robbed of its best minds While everyone watches and does nothing What will become of our future? I miss the old good days When love blossomed among friends and foes When it was difficult to take law into your hands When conflicts were resolved amicably When did the rain start beating us? You can be alive in the morning and gone by the evening Not by God’s grace but by the hands of Grace or Grey Morals have gone to the dogs And everyone has become an executioner What will become of us? We need to discover how to turn things around Excuses will not save us For when fate knocks even destiny will evade you Your beauty will mean nothing How will you handle it? It’s time to stand up for the truth To discover the beauty that lies within everyone Refuse to be controlled by anger For life is precious Who are you to take it away?
