5 Lessons I Learned Working as a Customer Care Agent: Real Insights

    Early in my customer service journey, I got a chance to work at a prestigious call center in Westlands . I must say that I  was destined for this job as I was interviewed via phone and landed it immediately.  This  reminds me of the importance of creating meaningful relationships. You see, a friend I had gone to college with had volunteered my contacts and informed me that I will be contacted.  I had a lot going on as a first time mum and missed the first call.  This friend called me and informed me that I would be contacted again and to keep my phone close. Mark was too bright for his age and the admiration of many. He had that sweet smile that made you smile for no apparent reason when you saw him. He was the kind of a boy that lit the room when he walked in. Therefore, he was loved and adored by many. It was a great shock to us when we learnt that he was sick, he had been diagnosed with Leukemia, cancer of the blood. Born a crime is an intriguing memoir by Trevor Noah that brings to the fore his childhood memories at the time of apartheid in South Africa. The title of the book is derived from the circumstances of his birth as Noah was a product of, Patricia, a black mother and Robert, a white father. In South Africa at that particular time, it was a crime for the natives to have sex with whites and the offense was punishable by a five-year jail term. Noah writes an immaculate piece about his childhood, but centers upon his reverence for his mother whom he says was rebellious and willing to succeed no matter the circumstances.
